For those of you who are still very new to the internet, I have some great ways you can start exploring the depths of what is available. The following list is made up of some of my favourite websites, but if you want me to add more, please send me an email!
Wikipedia.org - an online encyclopedia maintained by people all around the world, this VERY in depth site will offer you oodles of information on things you never thought you wanted to know about! For example, I have just recently learned a lot more about Edgar Allen Poe!
Snopes.com - this site researches urban legends, and recently has been focused on spam emails too. More time-wasting, but they've done a lot of research into the various tales being told, and there are several interesting subsections.
Imdb.com - I frequently annoy my husband by asking about actors in movies "oh ... that's him .... you know, whatshisname ..." etc. With IMDB, simply type in the name of an actor, or movie and the full list of every conceivable piece of data regarding it/them will appear. Lots of fun!
